NutriMost - PHASE 4 - RESET/RETRAIN

The morning weigh in of Day 44 is your new weight set point! The RESET / RETRAIN PHASE in the next 3 weeks and the weight should not go up or down more than 2 pounds from the new weight set point. This phase may be THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL PHASES!! This is where we reset the metabolism, the weight set point, hormonal balance and your hypothalamus from now on. Although there is much more that you can eat with this phase, making it much easier... You CAN NOT cheat... or you risk not resetting the weight set point, metabolism and hormonal balance.

Starting with Day 44 you have a wider variety of fruits and vegetables that you may now eat - you must stay vigilant. You may eat or cook with fats and oils. 

PHASE 4 of the Nutrimost Program has 3 Rules:

You must weight yourself every morning and remain within 2 pounds of your final Phase 3 Weight. 
Your calories are determined by your doctor by taking the average of your daily caloric intake and you basal metabolic rate... this should not exceed 2800
There are absolutely NO SUGARS AND STARCHES permitted! 

Fruits not Included

Dried Fruits, and fruits processed with sugar.

Caution Fruits

Melons, grapes, mangos, bananas, pomegranates, raisins, and watermelon.

Vegetables not included

Beets, corn, yams, parsnips, potatoes, and rutabagas. 

Vegetables that are a caution

Artichokes, okra, peas, pumpkin, and squash.

All cheese and dairy is a caution (except for cottage cheese and kefir).

All nuts and seeds are a caution (except for flax seeds and coconut).

No beans are permitted. (Except Edamame)

This phase is one of the most important, for we are now able ot reset your metabolism and weight set point so that you will never gain the weight back. It takes about 3 weeks to set the weight set point, metabolism and the hormones. During these 3 weeks it is a totally different mindset. During the past 43 days there were no oils and fats and you ate very few calories. During this phase oils and fats are good and you must bring your calories up to your specified target. It is essential to raise your calories to this target level so as to set a high metabolism. Eating fewer calories lowers the metabolism. It is essential to use coconut oil during this phase for it is processed differently than  other oils and helps raise the metabolism substantially.

As long as your weight stays within 2 pounds of the weight set point on the morning of day 44, everything is fantastic. However, the moment the scale goes beyond two pounds over, even if this is only a few ounces, you must skip breakfast and lunch. In the evening you must eat a large steak with only 1 apple or raw tomato. This should return you to your set point.
