My NutriMost Experience
So I did so good at the party, I didn't eat anything except my 6 items for the day. I even chased my kid around the party all day. I figured I would have had a major weight loss. However, the opposite happened... I gained 2 pounds. I'm kind of pissed.
Then I remembered that my doctor said that at about 2 weeks you may see a stall. I honestly didn't even realize it had been 2 weeks cause it has been going so fast. I had my appointmet today so I figured I would bring it up.
My doctor suggested I try backing down my water again and increasing my salt intake. She also explained that by exerting large amounts of energy, like playing in the band and running around at a party, could cause my system to temporarily come out of fat burning mode. The reason is that your metabolism will slow way down during ketosis if large amounts of energy is exerted. This would explain both of my temporary lulls in weight loss so far.
She also suggested that I do a coconut oil day. Where i cook with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil for each meal.
Since I really can't nor do I want to get out of playing in the band I will just deal with the fact that I am only losing 5 pounds a week instead of 7. Big whoop. I will try out the coconut oil and report back.
